pregnant Athletes

No pregnancy looks the same! We can help you navigate your workouts, and teach you key things you need to know about exercising while pregnant.

postpartum athletes

Postpartum is forever. Rebuilding your body in the first year and after birth needs to be intentional, patient, kind, and fun!

Group setting & community

Not only is it more fun to train with others, but when you are a tired mom, nothing beats taking care of yourself with others that are in the same boat! Bonus: babies are welcome! No one cares that your baby is crying, needs a change, or to be fed mid-workout, we get it!

class structure

Warm-up:
Isometric and dynamic movement to start blood flow always including pelvic floor and breathing exercises.

Workout:
Safe and functional movements best for pre- and post-natal bodies. The workouts will be modified to your needs - whether the intensity needs to be taken down or up. Our Mom Coaches will customize it appropriately for you.

Cool Down:
Stretching and mobility - can include upper back, low back, forearms, and whatever the mamas request!

*Doctor’s clearance:
If you are currently pregnant, be sure to ask your doctor first if working out is safe for you and your baby.

Postpartum, your doctor will usually approve you to start moving after 6 weeks (8 weeks for cesarean), but please check in with them first.

about the Coaches

Coach Alexis is the mother of 2 littles (under 5 and under 1 year old) and has been coaching CrossFit and personal training since 2011. She is so excited to have this opportunity to bring women together to workout in an understanding environment, and help guide them through this beautiful, yet sometimes complicated journey of growing a baby and understanding your new body after baby.

Coach Rachel is the mother of 3 (21yo, 19yo & 15yo) and has been coaching CrossFit and personal training since 2014. It’s been a while since Rachel has had a ‘little’ but she’s still passionate about mamas taking time for themselves and learning how to appreciate their bodies in all stages of pre- and post-natal - no matter what that looks like.
